  WBTS Owning stocks in cigarette giant?

  it was stated in a previous post that the wbts owns stocks in tabacco giant phillip morris.

  does anyone know this for fact?

  i would have thought being a not for profit organisation, trading in stocks and bonds would not be allowed.. thoughts?

  JW's asking for money

  my wife was telling my jw friend who is visiting that for the past few meetings the brothers have been telling the cong that no one is donating and that they need money.

  i told her it sounded like the end was coming.

  she looked at me puzzled, as my friend did, and i explained what charley had originally said about when the money dried up it meant the jehovah no longer needed them.

  Englishman - I perceive you are a bitter man, once part of a target market. FYI my mother recently filled out a pension form, which asked the current value of her home, and also my income - because I still live at home. Well run to the hills Martha, I don't see any backlash on DWP forums !! Of course not. Forms that are filled out by people seeking care eventually form part of a legal agreement. But being a cynic now, you will seek (and find) another reason for this. I pity you.
